Help a Star Foundation
The Help a Star Foundation is a non profit organization registered in both the Netherlands and the United States. Help a Star focuses on children and youth in need. The Help a Star Foundation wants to help children by educating them and giving them opportunities so that they can have a better future and improved chances of living a fulfilled adult life.
Drowning of children is a serious problem around the world. In both developing and wealthy countries many young children die because of drownings. Every lost child is one too many. The Help a Star Foundation wants reduce the amount of drownings as much as possible. The Help a Star Foundation makes a serious effort to realize this by organizing various projects for children. We believe that the chances of survival of children and youngsters can be increased a lot through education. The Help a Star Foundation has given training in survival skills to children in Lesotho and Suriname and will continue to provide these lessons in survival techniques. We are looking for partners and contributors to help and support our mission.
Our goal is to make a positive impact on the youth we serve, provide opportunities, share knowledge to make the world a better place. The Help a Star Foundation is enriching the lives of children.

Stichting Help a Star Foundation Netherlands
The Help a Star Foundation was officially registered as a foundation in the Netherlands at the Chamber of Commerce on February 12, 2021. Later on that year the Stichting Help a Star Foundation was registered as an ANBI. The Stichting Help a Star Foundation has conducted several projects. In 2022 volunteers of Help a Star went to Suriname to provide children training in survival techniques. This will help children who unexpectedly fall in teh water to save themselves and prevent that they will drown. In 2023 volunteers of Help a Star will go to Lesotho to provide a similar training.
Help a Star Foundation USA
On February 23, 2023 Help A Star officially registered as a 501C3 no profit organization in the United States. The registration is twofold with the federal portion being processed by the Internal Revenue Service and the state portion processed by the North Carolina Secretary of State. The Help a Star Foundation has many volunteers who live within the United States and therefor can initiate and organize international projects from the United States of America.
